Rumbling? ... can you explain?

Do you feel it anywhere else?

The description is kinda vague, but my guess is you either have a driveline or rear wheel/tire vibration. If you have no vibration in the steering wheel then I'd try rotating the rear wheels to the front. If your vibration moves to the steering wheel then you know it is in one of the wheels or tires. If the vibration doesnt change (unlikely if you havent done anything to the car recently) then you probably have something out of whack in the driveline.

if you have a lightwieght fly--it may be the cuase. This takes out alot of dampening when the factoty fly is replaced--also--you may have a clutch disk that is not centered--this happens when using an incorrect clutch alignment tool or something of the like. Also--check the driveshaft--the carrier bearing may be taking a crap on you.

i had the same problem when i bought my car.it was my front left bearing. I found out by lifting the car with a jack and spinning the wheel. if it makes a strange hissing noise that sounds like metal to metal contact or grinding then its your bearing. I ordered the bearing and hub assembly because the bearing is already pressed into the hub and you can install it yourself. its a dealer item and it costs $150.61 part # 40200-0V200good luck:D
