Weird Question

Has anyone ever heard of a rear window just exploding due to the cold? My boss's back window of his Maxima was busted yesterday on a security camera covered location. Is this possible that it would just explode like that? A few people told him that's what happened but I've never heard of such a thing...

It might shatter due to it being frozen over with ice and you throw hot water on it. But I doubt that anyone would be that stupid.

Usually its some person with a hammer trying to jack your goods.

My buddy had this peice of shi* '89 GTi and it was real cold and he put the defrost on and it shattered, but I've never heard of spontaneous combustion of a window lol. Somthing needed to trigger it
