ok so shortly after i bought my car it started to have some problems, it would not turn over. there was a short, i had a full brand new battery, and after 3 days it would somehow drain. bought it to east metro auto electrics, they put in a new alternator, ignition switch, new relay. and for some reason after 5 days of working good and turning over on a dime, i woke up this morning ran out ot the car, and pressed in the clutch, put in my keys and closed the door.

what happened is this:

i noticed the automatic seat belt guide thingy was having a problem, other days it would do it so smoothly, this time it was not going back as it was suppose to, or not as smoothly it took it a while actually.

so once it strapped me in, which took less then like 20 seconds when it should take like 4 seconds, i then try turning the car over, it gave a weird noise coming from under the middle panel where the ebrake is.

i believe there is a seat belts computer or something down there as i remember taking off the center console and there is a silver box down there that had to do something with the seat belts. [remember these seat belts come on automatically when you close the door]

it kept giving a weird click noise over and over, i checked the lights,

i noticed:

1rst: my cd player came on fine.2nd: lights came on right.3rd: everytime i pressed the brake in, it seemed as if the clock in the cluster [right under the speedometer, rev meter] would just go dim, but after letting it off it went back to normal. i even had the car light turn on so if i had the door opened it would turn on, i pressed in my brake and the light on it would be dim too.

what do you think is wrong with my car?

engine harness?spark plugs?relay?fuse?

please help me!

im starting to hate this car.

yesterday i put in some fine royal purple engine oil and now it wont even work.

=/

are you sure the cd player is wired properly to the 12v switched source(red)and the constant source(yellow).Any aftermarket elec acc wired in as well?Get a meter and check the battery to see if it is 12.6(full charge)Check alt output and verify it is 13.9 or so at battery with a few acc on.Do a voltage drop test both neg drop and pos drop to verify a cabling issue.
