Weird Problem

Alright this has happened twice and im starting to get worried. I am driving home at night and I put the car in neutral and coast up to my house. All of a sudden the engine check light comes on, and the handbrake light, the oil light, and the door ajar light. Then after a couple seconds my car shuts off. I thought I might have stalled it somehow, but how do you stall in neutral? Then it happened again tonight. I was cruising up a hill in 3rd and all of a sudden the same lights come on and a couple seconds later the car shuts off. Its easy to restart and everything so it isnt a horrible problem but I would like to know what the hell is goin on.

Alternator...get it checked.
