Weird problem engine somewat cut-off?????????

I have no clue wat happened... hopefully someone could help me out!

Okay i was messing around with a Lotus Elise(haha) and he passed me so i shifted down to fourth and i caught up to him and got next to him and i looked at my speedometor and i was goin 95 then all of a sudden i had no power and my speed was steadingly goin down... idk I hit the gas and the revs was chopin from 0 to 2k but wen i didnt hit the gas it was rele close to 0. so the Engine was basically stalled or something but wasnt if you understand. I then went to the edge of interstate and cut car off let it sit then cranked it up and it was fine. i was redlineing and stuff and didnt do it? It is driving like normal!





Can someone please tell me wat could have happened!! i am soooooo stumped. I am guessing maybe i flooded the engine. I am just hopeing that this wont happen again wen im actually racing someone!!!!
