Weird Problem Easily Fixed, who would have known lol

Well i had some problems the last few months with what sounded like my valves ticking, coming from the 2nd and 3rd cylinders, thought i was going to replace some stuff, like the lifters and such from comments i had been told by some people. The other day i decided to replace my air filter, I put the new one in and the ticking went away..... Weird huh? Who would have known a 3 year old air filter that was never cleaned woudl be the culprit. Guess it just wasn't getting enough air and was making a vaccume effect on the engine.
