I recently changed out the tie rods (inner+ outer) for my 89 240sx.

I did not start up my car for about 4 to 5 weeks. My steering was fine before then.

Now whenever I turn the wheel, it does not automatically counter-steer. It simply stays to where I turn it. In other words, I cannot simply let go of the wheel to get it to spin back straight, because it does not spin back at all.

I can still turn with ease. Parking is not a problem. I can feel the power steering helping me turn the wheel 100%. There is just no auto-correcting(or whatever it's called) of the steering wheel..

Please help~ :<

no could that be the problem? It's straight enough to be driveable but I guess there's more to it. I'll get it aligned asap. Thank you!
