WEIRD power steering problem

So I finally got another power steering pump for my CA and I put it on but for some reason I only have power steering when Im making right turns and when I turn to the left there is no power steering at all any opinions on what the problem could be will be greatly appreciated.

check the back of the rack and pinion for bent lines. if none are present, it is probably an internal issue with the steering gear.

well since its been raining since thursday of last week I noticed this morning that it was leaking so could the leak be causing it to have air in the lines somewhere?

do you know where the leak is coming from? i dont think that air in the lines would make you lose power steering in one direction.

yeah it only leaks when I turn to the left.

it only leaks when you turn left eh? where about is the leak? pump, rack, lines?

My bad I meant it leaks when I turn to the right its leaking on one of the lines that connects to the rack but it only leaks when I turn the wheel to the right.

try replacing the line.

Yea Ill try that after I fix the leak to see if it works.

if the lines are not damaged dont worry about it. but fix the leak, and if the problem persists, it's probably something internal in the steering gear.

I fixed it, IT was leaking from a bent line on the back of the rack now I remember why I love my s13 so much
