weird parking lights

i have a 95 240sx and when i press the brake, my parking lights turn on. and when i let go of the brake it turns off... is that normal? i just thought that was weird. does anyone know how to fix that if its not normal?

Maybe im just a noob, but i dont know what you mean "parking lights".. Are you sure its not just the brake lights? which is completely normal and idk what to say about that haha.

By "parking lights" you mean brake lights? If so that's normal on any car...

When your driviing at night, and you have your normal lights on then you press the brakes, do the lights on your tail lamps get brighter?
If not you have a wiring issue.

Are you talking about the front turn signals? My s13 does that too, if I press the brakes they come on. Thanks for reminding me I need to look into that.

like when you go to turn on your lights the first click the parking lights turn on. those lights turn on when i press the brake.

oh those things are called parking lights? well then i dont know. haha, have someone electrically oriented check that out

thats what i thought they was called and when you click one more i thought that was called driving lights
