I jsut got this rebuilt turbo and a revhard mani. the turbo is a "standard t3/t04" but the turbo outlet flange is this weird hexagon shape with 6 bolt holes. I thought they usually have 5 holes? has anyone seen flanges that fit this or if not do you think a muffler shop could make one? i have a pic but i have no idea how to insert one onto the post.

edit- i think the turbo is from a ford, so to complete my setup i'd probably have to find some junkyard turbo fords for parts?

I was studying my turbo, and I've realized that since it has a T4 tangential housing, it uses a "V Band Discharge Flange" insead of the usual bolt on flange. I had never heard of a V band flange, but it seems pretty simple and probably just as easy to weld a downpipe to. Does anyone have any experience with this type of turbo that can offer any tips as to where I can find a V band flange, or correct me if I don't know that the hell I'm talking about? lol Thanks guys

heres a site you can order your parts from

http://www.proturbokits.com/partsvbands.htm

their pretty cheep for the flange and clamp, then all you need is the proper size piping and u bends that you can use to weld to the vband flange to complete your downpipe. I fyou need pix let me know.
