Weird noise in my Y33 front suspension.

Ok guys I have had my Y33 since feb 08 and it had a squeaking noise coming from the front suspension. When I bought it i was told the struts were shot so i figured the noise was coming from that. So I got new struts and its still making the same noise. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be exhaust hangers. I have that same problem on mine. Squeek squeek, squeek squeek, most noticeable from 5-12mph.

i never thought about exhaust hangers but would the sound be coming from the front of the car? And if it is the exhaust hangers how would i fox that?

Did you repalce the strut bearings and bump stops at the same time? Tensions rod bushings? So much we don't know.

I havnt done anything else or I would have said that. Struts were the only thing I have done so far. My mechanic didnt say anything else needed to be replaced.

May I suggest your "mechanic" was a little short sighted?

Bump stop and gaiters always replaced with new struts and shocks, front strut bearings also unless strut failure was premature.

By reading the previous posts here you will become more learned than any "mechanic" and most junior technicians.
