weird noise from the back of the car

hey what's up i have a 1997 maxima, n it has this funny click click type noise when i slow down or when hittin the brakes and the car is slowing down to like 5-10 mph. .... it doesnt' do it when i go fast or take off, only when im slowing down or going that slow.... can it be the rotors, brakes... cuz i feel like something is rubbing against it...HELP HELP...

I would have the brakes inspected to be sure. when is the last time you had them inspected or replaced? have it checked out and let us know if there's anyway we can help, and what the issue is.

did you replace your maxima wit a 240?completely off topic^^^

definatly get your breaks checked out i dont know about the wheel bearings in the maxima but it could be that and if that goes it aint good

im not sure if this problem is related in any way, but my car used to make weird noises in the back of the car also. Then a couple of days ago my tailpipe became very loose. I took it to my cousin mechanic and he fixed it (apparently the rubber that holds it tears, as he told me from experience).

Yeah I have a 1997 Maxima aswell and I also hear a faint clicking noise when I apply the brakes. I did get all four brakes changed but the noise is still there...

There was a technical service buliton on the brakes for the 1995 maximabut I don't the #

I was for "Growling" brakes . The noise occures after takingoff from a stop or creeping along while touching the brakes

Nissan said to live with it and there was no damage occurring
