weird noise from rear end

Hey everyone. Iv got something on my mind that i want to share and ask. Whenever I come to a stop, from the rear comes a noise that sounds like something swinging back and forth. I am out of ideas. Im starting to wonder if there is something loose in the gas tank, because that is where the noise is coming from. Any information is helpful, because im starting to get worried. Thank you.

could be the gas sloshing around that you are hearing.

besides that i have no ideas.... put the rear up on stands and crawl under and take a look!

thanks. ive looked under there, and nothing that i can see is loose. I have about a half a tank, and thats what i was thinking. Thanks for the reply, im just a little paranoid about my girl.

What noise does it sound like? a clunk? a squeak? a tap? specify.

Does it happen when you turn rough or gradual?

What does it sound like to you? (*may sound like a stupid question, but It helps to know to help diagnosis it via forum)

What sort of differential are you running? (Are you sure all screws to the axels to the output shafts are tightened)

What kind of suspension are you running? Is it really bad wheel hop?

No problem. Ill try my best to describe it to you. It sounds like something swinging back and forth. It only occurs when i come to a stop. I have KYB AGX with Eibach springs. The noise stops after a second. It sounds like it is swinging back and forth and is coming from the general area of the gas tank.

Its not wheel hop, i know that for sure. It wasnt happening before i got to half a tank, so i think i'll attempt to fill it up and see if it stops. Thanks for your continued help.

No, its not my circuit sport exhaust. thats bolted down tight. it sounds more like a metal hinge, like something swinging back and forth for about 4 seconds, depending on the stop. It could be a liquid, i still havnt filled it up yet, but i did just fail my emissions ;p. woops. ill get that fixed.

UPDATE--- Filled it up and the noise is gone, for now. Thanks. Now its time for emissions!!
