WEIRD NOISE FROM DRIVER SIDE SUSPENSION

alright i have JIC Magic coilovers, every time i go over a bump or something i would feel like something is hitting my chassic, like a knocking noise. i dont know if it is my coilover that is doing that or brakes or something. but when i drive over a bump its like a knocking noise. can someone help me please.

It might be your inner wheel lip grazing the side of the wheel well. What size are your wheels. Or Just your tire. I had that problem with my s14 rear passenger side. Bad spacing problem. All fixed now.

Well, I guess you better take off the wheel and inspect. Look for any leaks on coilover, busted rubber seals on tie rod end, control arm or any marks on fender well/trim... etc. Make sure all the bolts and nuts are tight within factory spec. See spring perch on coilover is also tight and check the caliper while you are at it. Let us know if you find something.

you sure your not bottoming out?

usually knocking noise means blown shocks or a loose bolt somewhere

maybe blown shocks? i dont know ill check...how do check if its blown?

I think you should first check for any leak on the coilover.

Uh.. remove the wheel and look at the body of coilovers. You just have to take a look at it I guess.

alright i still havnt had time to check it...my starter went out and my car doesnt start i have to get that fixed
