Weird noise coming from under the car

car: manual 93 240sx non SE no abs

When driving in slow speeds and slowing down, I hear like a sort of rattling "crook, crook, crook"sound coming from under the car. I can't really describe the sound. All I can say is that its not squeaky like brakes, not a lose exhaust, not shocks. If it's of any importance, I just replaced new front strut rod with bushings (OEM) Any help appreciated!

proximity of the sound? only when you're braking huh?

I'm thinking either near tires or right under the driver's side?Not necessarily by applying the brakes, just slowing down in general or just accelerating from 0-30mph.
