I was wondering if anybody knows what would cause this. Whenever im driving with my headlights on at night, all of a sudden my headlights and dash lights will get really bright for a few seconds and then go back to normal. It looks as if im turning my bright lights on but im not. It will just do it randomly like every once in awhile.

It's most likely due to voltage spike from the alternator. The internal Voltage Regulator may be failing. Check the alternator charging voltage - 14.1-14.7VDC. If you see a voltage higher than that, you have to replace the alternator as other electronics components may also be affected. Also make sure that the battery connection is clean and tight.
