Weird L-Shape Sticker?

Anyone have this weird sticker on their car? It's on the bottom rear or the rear doors on me.

It's either a rock protector or just a plain old door protector.

That's what I was thinking, it's not even at the edge or the door. Plus, it's peeling off a bit. I was also thinking it might be just part of the packaging that they forgot to take off.

I noticed those things on mine right away, but didn't think anything about it. My son had a pick-up that had them at the bottom front edge of the back wheel wells..... rock/paint protection.

I do agree though that on the V, they're in a strange place.

I asked my dealer about them and he said they are supposed to stay on.Mine hold dirt really bad, like the pic at the top would indicate, and I'll probably take them off. I'd love to replace them with something similar but not as ugly. Maybe the 3M clear bra material would work?

its a paint protector and the 3m stuff gets that dirty look also,i had it on my accord and after awhile you see a distictive mark from it.

When I was debadging my V, I realize that sticker there as well. pretty sure it is just those protection stickers though.

I'd leave them as long as possible. That area of my Maxima is tore up with rock damage.
