weird knocking noise on my 1995 240sx

i was driving from work and i noticed a strange knocking noise coming from the rear drivers side of my car. the weird thing is that it only knocks while im driving under 15 mph and even still it went away every now and then on my way home. the noise, by the way, i believe has something to do with either my brakes, shocks, or maybe even my wheel...got any ideas of what it could be? what should i be checking for?

update:so now the noise is there anytime my foot isnt on the gas or on the breaks.i noticed that when my foot was on the gas the noise would go away but when i would let go the noise would come back. i also noticed that when i would press on the brakes the noise would go away for the time i was pressing on the brakes. what should i be looking for?!?!?!

p.s. it also sounds like the noise goes hand in hand with the speed of the tire rotation i.e. for every one rotation i hear one knock

I actually have the same problem, i just bought a 95 240SX and it makes a poping sound when i shift or about to pull to a stop. The rear suspension bushings is what causes it, so check them to see if it's the problem.
