I have the 2014 SV with the nav system. I have had the following problems in the past two weeks and am wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I have an HTC One M8 HK edition on Sprint (android 4.4)

Problem 1: Using the bluetooth music, I will go to start the car and the music will start playing out of my phone instead of the car. It worked fine the previous day and I did not restart the phone since then. Restarting the phone and the car does not fix this. Sometimes it will randomly start working on its own after a couple minutes of this. Turning bluetooth off on the car side of things usually fixes this. If I turn it off on the phone and back on, it does not fix the problem.

Problem 2: The car sometimes thinks the phone is on a call when it clearly is not. Again it worked fine the previous day and I did not restart the phone or anything since then. Pressing the end button on the car screen does not do anything. Restarting the car and phone never fixes this either. I can either turn bluetooth on the car off and back on and it SOMETIMES fixes the problem, or I can actually place a phone call which will fix it EVERY time. Turning bluetooth off and back on on the phone itself does not fix the problem. If I make a phone call and end it when this problem happens, everything goes back to working properly.

Has anyone else had weird issues like this? It's really making me annoyed. My phone does not give me these kinds of issues with other Bluetooth devices.

What phone do you use? My car has 4700mi on it, and these specific problems just started happening in the past few hundred miles.

Regarding #2:

My iPhone 5s does this if I am using any app that uses voice feedback (like Waze giving me directions). Every time the app "speaks" my display shows that there is an active call.

I don't know if that helps explain your situation or not. My only resolution has been to plug my phone to the USB port instead of using Bluetooth.

I have an SV as well (non-premium) and it seems it's one of the less common configs. I did not have the issues you had but I had another. My Bluetooth settings would reset every time I stopped / restarted the vehicle. I had to do my own troubleshooting as the dealer was pretty much worthless. Eventually I got them to let me see if it didn't happen in another Rogue on the lot. When the other one worked fine, they finally agreed to replace the radio. Problem solved.
