so my motor has been in and running great for like 7 months but just recently on 2 very hot days after driving for like 30 or 40 min it would start running s*** sounds like its on three cylinders the first time it did it i pulled over made sure nothing was loose took the coil pack cover off and turned the car off and on a couple times and i was still running like crap so i just putted home and let it sit like 15 min with the hood open and cranked it and everything was fine it didnt do it again until yesterday about a week from the first time again a hot day it started to do it on the freeway so i got off popped the hood checked all connections and took the coil pack cover off again turned the car off cranked it and it was fine so i continue to drive home and it starts doing it again about 10 min later turn the car off at a red light start it to go and it was fine then it did it again so 3 times in this one 40 min trip this time i oull over pull the hood latch and it quit so i close the hood and drove the last 5 min home fine my guess is something is overheating maybe electrical like one of the coil packs cutting out i have no clue tho do our coil pack tend to over heat? or any suggestions. the symptoms while it is doing it are no power i can barely get up to speed and it sound like 3 cylinders

You have a bad coil or a bad power transistor/ignitor.

when i cranked it this morning it was still doing it so i disconnected each coil pack and found it is the 4th cylinder that is the suspect but then i wiggled the ignitor connectors and it went back to normal so i guess a wire ust wasnt getting good connection which would explain why it was fine one second and crap the next. thanks dee

No Problem, man! But be advised that it will do it again. It's not the connector or a wire from the connector, but a faulty pin from the ignitor itself.
