weird idling

My car has a really off idling when i am in neutral or if im on my clutch but whenever i am driving everthing is fine. Some dude that i go to school with told me that it could be my vacuum sensor. is he right or is it something esle?

not quite sure if there's a vac sensor on a 40, but it's a start.

actually though, my first suggestion would be to give that idle air control valve (iacv) a thorough cleaning (you can search for this) and give the car a tune up if you haven't already, and then post back what you find.
