weird idle stall when cold vg30dett

so i just swaped my convertt to a tt recently this is my 4th tt z and all of them did this. they start and idle fine for about 5 seconds, than they start to surgie between 500 and 0 for a little than die. but when car warms up its fine idles at like 800. i cleaned the iac valve

Huh? Is that how you solved it? It seems like you stopped mid sentence.

no i alredy cleaned it and it didnt help at all. i put that so no one would say clean you iac cause i alredy did it ahah

Oh ok. Mine dose that to. dunno what makes it do that though.

yeah im about to just put a fricking heating block on the rad to keep the tempature up so i dont have to deal with that bs

mine has the same idle problem when cold but give it like ten or so seconds and its good

Wow, I just got exactly the same problem. Starts fine, runs at fast idle for like 5 seconds and then slowly down to 500rpm and dies. When I restart, it idles high again until operating temperature is reached and then, it is fine.

It would be nice if anybody would know the answer.
