Sometimes when I accelerate, my car freaks out on me and cuts off my fuel. I'm not completely sure that its fuel cut, but thats what it feels like. I have noticed that the problem occurs at about 5lbs of boost. I used to push 7lbs but it always cuts off at 5 now, even if I turn the boost up. Please help me find out whats wrong!! Thanks.

may not be fuel cut..could be as simple as a dirty MAF....check it and clean it with some good contact cleaner..you have to pray it directly on the hot wire to clean it properly. also make sure you ahev it disconnected from the harness and let it dry completely before reinstalling it..see fi that helps

I cleaned the Maf, but it made no difference. Could it be just the spark plugs?

Could be a lot of things.

What Fuel Pump do you use? What Plugs?

Could be a few things. Doesnt sound like Fuel cut though at 5 PSI or stock 7. I get fuel cut some at 12-14 psi but not 7.

Also check your intake hose that it doesnt have a leak. Extra Air getting in could run it lean.

Could it maybe be sensors? There is no diagnostic connector on my ecu, so I can't tell

Sounds like a bad fuel pump you should look into replacing it with a walbro one! You will like the difference!

I have an aftermarket walbro fuel pump. It's about 8 months old. What else should I try?

Boost leaks maybe......maybe just a split in a coupler or just a split in a vacume line that leaks under boost,a clamp not tightened enough maybe that leaks when you get into boost,or even a hole in a pipe,a leaking intake manifold gasket or throttle body gasket can cause this...............when you have a boost leak the turbo pulls more air through the MAF to make a so many set pounds of boost and the ECU sees so much air getting pulled through the MAF and them BAM it happens, fuel cut......its something always programmed into most factory turbo cars incase over boost happens(like the vacume line on the wastegate nipple popping off and then the turbo puts out as much boost as possible)..............Just a thought of something to check for,try a boost leak check.
