Hi guys,

My 240 was sitting for about two years. I went to take it out the other day, I bought a new battery and put it in. She fired up on the first try but I have a weird electrical problem now. I'm not getting any eletrical power to the inside of the car. Nothing works inside, the radio, power windows, wipers, dome lights all don't work. Nothing in the dash works either, no tach, speedometer, gas gauge or temp. I'm thinking either a fuse blew or an animal chewed through some wires somewhere but I have not looked yet.

Anyone ever experience something like this? Anyone have any ideas on where to start looking for the problem, any tips or hints?

Thanks in advance

Could be a fuse. Also is everything that is dead controlled by the ignition switch? That might be the culprit...

There are two plugs that plug into the red terminal connector for the battery (positive terminal) Since the car was sitting, they may have either been a) disconnected on accident or b) corroded.

Either or, those two plugs provide power to the interior gadgets and doohickeys. It would be the first suspect on my short list.

check all your relays and grounds and look for any signs of rats or mice.
