Weird elctrical issue

My gauge cluster will not come to life until i rev my motor to what I believe would be 2000rpm. After that everything comes to life, stays on and works perfect. Any suggestions as to what might cause this.

That's a new one on me. Check grounds and such first. Is this a HUD display?

I'm also moving this to the appropriate section.
