as noted in the name of the thread my car has a wierd dying problem. i does not happen all the time, so i am leaning towards wiring. so here is the problem.

the car will start to kinda sputter and loose power, resulting in the car dying or it will just die with no warning. i usually notice the car is dead when i start to turn and have no power steering . So i shift gears pop the clutch and continue the turning. the prob is completely random one day could be fine the next i drives like ****. i have changed almost all ignition parts, when the problem comes about i also keeps fuel pressure. i cant help but wonder if the wiring is causing the car to loose spark.(i have had wiring problems in other places before)

oh yea and the car is the 91 240 stock KA 170k miles

so sorry for the rambling, any help would be appreciated. if i forgot to tell anything important tell me.

Before it goes is that "sputtering" accompanied by some shaking? It could be vac tubes. Mine would intermittently cause me problems until I changed them all.

As in vacuum lines.... Im with Alfador on this one, check all vacuum lines first. Vacuum issues can do some weird stuff to your car. After you do that then find out why and whats killing your car engine. Wiring problems like this are hard to troubleshoot....
