Weird Dots next to P on the dash board

Good day everyone,

The other day I started up my car and noticed a buncha little dots to swiggles next to the Transmission state on the dashboard where it says park and drive and all that stuff. Any idea what this is and how to get rid of it? Posted a picture below.

This is somewhat common on the Y50. It seems to come and go for some users. No real way to 'fix' it other than getting a new speedometer.

I have the same thing except my version looks almost like a snowflake! I'm learnin' to ignore it.

Dang and the Y50 is exactly what I have, just seeing it is so annoying. First the seat lift breaks for the driver and now this. Thanks to everyone who replied.

I had the same problem about 2 years ago. Looked like a leaning "J" or boot. Happened in the cooler time of the year. Lasted about 4 months and went away.

That is a common problem as well and one afflicting me. You'll have to remove the seat and get the rail rewelded.

Nice. yours looks like a coiled snake, mine appears in winter only and is just 3 dots
