so i just tried cranking my engine to see what would happen. i have power now and everythings dandy. so my engine cranked over but nothing more than that. so i decided to check my spark plugs, none were fouled or anything, but the lead spark had a yellow brownish tint just where the hexnut meets the ceramic. it was also apparent on another one, but not as much. i've never seen that before, so whats the happens?

It's normal, just caused by the heat. Unless it's really bad, then you might need to go with a slightly colder plug.

ok cool. to check if you get spark you're supposed to take the coil pack and spark out and hold it over the cam cover to see if an arc passes right?

Yup, that's one way.
