So I bought an exedy stage 2 clutch kit. Kit # 06953A. I put it in my 97' s14, since then the clutch fork has ben loose on the pressure plate. Like When everythings bolted up, I can move the fork back and forth a little. I didn't think much of it untill I went through 2 slave cylinders, they were over extending and blowing up on me . It seems like my slave is extending way too far to engage the clutch. Its basically fully engaged after I bleed the clutch. I did get the flywheel resurfaced, Is there such thing and grinding it too low?

i just had this same problem on my stage 4 clutch... it ended up being way to much pressure in my lines and not letting it fully disengauge.... i ended up pushing my throw out bearing through my pressure plate.... thank god i had extras laying around..... anyways, all i had to do was readjust my pedal.... just loosen the bolt on the clutch pedal on then turn the long screw coming from master cylinder with your hands....

ii went through 3 new slaves and was even bout to just cut the pin for the slave.... the i asked my mechanic and he knew right away...lol

I would check the clutch fork condition & installation, probably not fully hooked to the fulcrum.

But my problem is that there is a gap,so I would have to extend the pin if anything. I have like 3 pins so I might take two and weld them together to get that 5cm of space i need. I'm going to check theclutch fork and see if it's bent tomorrow. I'll let you all know what's going on.

When everything is bolted up and together how much room do you have between the throw out bearing and the top of the diaphram after its bled?
