well lets just say this I was having issues w/ my clutch, and i replaced the clutch, pressure plate, TO bearing, MC, SC and SS braided one piece line. The system has been bled throughly multiple times, and I'm still experiencing a slipping clutch, high release point, and soft pedal. not mushy, just soft. can anyone gimme any clues on what my problem is. I am about to pull my flywheel (I know i shoulda done it when it was outa the car) but stuff happens. can anyone shed some light??BTW this car was originally auto. thanks guys.

1. high release point you can adjust the pedal down.

2. soft pedal, depends pressure plate.

3. slipping clutch, did you break it in? Did you apply grease to the shaft of the transmission where it meets up with the clutch disc? If so, did you apply too much grease?

4. your flywheel got crap on it too? Make sure those surfaces are clean when reassembling all that stuff. It's easy to get dirty hands all over that stuff when you're down below and dreading the work with the smelly gear oil.

1. I've tried seemed to make matters worse2. I figured this much, but my idiot friends kept telling me otherwise.3. it's not broken in yet, a couple hundred miles to go, maybe i put too little on the shaft. 4.I washed my hands before i reinstalled.

this looks like i might have to pull the transmission and rethink things, i need this thing ready for NOPI.

a pivot should only need to be changed if yours broke, or if you're scared it's gonna break. Otherwise it aint gonna change a thing.
