Background info....ok, I go drifting alot and beat the piss out of my clutch. I dont ebrake i clutch kick alot. Well last year i replaced the master cylinder, the entire line (both hard and soft), i removed my dampener, and i put a new slave cylinder. It is all oem. This year i have replaced my master cylinder again and i just blew my clutch and i replaced it with a stage 2 ACT with a 6 puck.

Now onto my problem....Every 3 days my pedal goes soft and i need to bleed the line. Some how air keeps getting in my line?! The weird part is that i am not loosing any fluid. So air is getting in, but fluid isnt going out. kinda weird ha. I blead the line the other day for 30min and air kept comming out. WTF!!!

If there was a brake in the line i thought i would have a fluid leak. The master is 2 weeks old. The slave and line is 1 year old. I was planning on replacing the line again but this just doesnt seem right.

What do you think...

youve got to have a hole in the system somewhere. no other way for it to get air in it. check again for any small seeping leaks. also check your master for any damage at the seal where the plastic resevior goes on.

You probably cross-threaded one of the line end connectors. The fluid would run down the line slowly so you don't notice it at all.

Rebleed your master. If air is in there, it'll continue to seep in and the fluid gets displaced back to the resevoir, so it looks like you're not losing anything

If there was a hole in the line, the fluid would be leaking.

Last year when I put a new line in i did cross thread the line and when i pushed down the pedal the fluid shot out like a cannon. I replaced it and it worked great. Hydrolics runs at such a high PSI rating that you could never run with a cross threaded connection.

Im thinking that the new master cylinder that i put in was bad to begin with. Like i said, i blead it for 30 min and air kept comming.

Sounds like a bad mc. Most of them are rebuilds, and may have a nicked cylinder chewing up the rubber. You could easily take it apart and inspect, or just replace it.

You said you eliminated the damper but you didn't say how. I had a similar problem and bought the Teflon clutch line from SPL and replaced the Slave and bleeder with a speed bleeder. Bled the system and everything is fine. Sometimes it is the simple things.

I removed the dampener. Like, there is no more. My clutch system goes: MC, Hard clutch line, Soft clutch line, and finally slave cylinder.
