here's the problem.

Whenever I am at a complete stop and I am in gear and holding the cluth all the way down sometimes the car will start to move forward and then it is hard to get out of gear. anyone know what is wrong?

What do I need to replace??

I appreciate your help:help

That does sound weird. Generally when I'm driving and I come to a complete stop, I release the clutch pedal and stay in neutral. How often does your little clutch problem occur?

It sounds like the clutch is still lightly touching the flywheel, even while you have the pedal down. Chances are you have to adjust the pedal travel - it may not be completely disengaging the clutch even when it's all the way to the floor. Either that, or you have a ton of air in the line to the slave cylinder and there's not enough hydraulic pressure to get the clutch completely disengaged. Check your free play and pedal travel first, adjust if necessary, then bleed the slave and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, you have some sort of voodoo curse going on.

I'm with Meantime on this, if those don't work you'd have to open the transmission, maybe you have a loose fork or something.

I had the samething happen and i toasted a clutch because it wasn't releading all the way. It turned out that my clutch master was bad. I bought a clutch master rebuild kit. It was 10.99 from advanced auto. when i put it in, i readjusted my clutch and everything was great. Nick
