I've done a search and cannot find anything. I have a 1990 240sx the issue is witht he clutch. When the car is cold the clutch grabs like iron(good) but after you drive the car for a while it seems like the clutch starts to slip(bad), but you don't get the clutch smell. After you let the car cool off for a few minutes the clutch seems to be grabbing again.

When its hold you can let the clutch out and it slowly engages and rolls off, step on the gas engine rev's but nothing really happens. I'm thinkin it must be the slave cylinder on the the transmission...maybe bleed thru?

Clutch is only a year old never had any problems with it until this.

Any suggestions?

Check your master and slave, Check your fluid, and when you replaced clutch did you also replace flywheel?

The master unit was relaced about 4years ago but the slave has never been changed. I'm gonna change that and see what happens. I think the seals must be bad letting fluid bypass. The flywheel was resurfaced when the clutch got changed. The system worked great for about a year now this problem has just developed.

Thanks!

Could be that you need a clutch too. Was the master replaced with a Nissan part or aftermarket?
