Just want to confirm something first.

Are you doing a constant acceleration ? Like wide open throttle to redline ? And if so, do you feel a total loss of power (car bucks, or falls on its face) ?

Or are you cruising at a steady speed, and you see that you're not making boost ?

IF you car goes to 5500 and then runs poor afterwards you might need to test your coilpacks and their grounds. 5500 RPM is the magical number where the coilpacks start to have serious issues. I believe forks is leaning towards this however without more information on exactly what happens allo we can do is guess so help us out Jesse

make sure you aren't accidentally pressing the brake pedal

Do you have a wideband O2 or even just a gauge thats tapped into the ecm? Also when it falls flat on its face the rpms still increase steadily just lack of power correct? Lastly when it falls flat on its face does the boost go to 0?

Is this car a recent purchase or recent swap? If not how long have you been driving the car BEFORE this happened? We need details!!

no o2 gauge of any kind. swapped it back like a year or so ago and has been fine. yes the rpms still climb and the boost gauge drops to 0. i recently fried 2 ecus becasue my 02 sensore wire came loos and spiked but i fixed it or maybe not? iv been drving this car for like 4 or 5 months at 12 psi before this happend

update i removed my boost controller to see if that was causing it and at 7 psi it held till like almost 7k. could it be my wastgate?

I held 7psi till 7k rpm and then dropped off as before? Have you done a pressure test of your inter cooler and piping/couplers? If your boost controller solenoid was holding pressure on the wastegate nipple that could very well be the culprit. I have seen a kink in the rubber/silicone line from solenoid to waste gate that would "fill up" when boosting due to the solenoid leaking and then the higher than normal pressure would get trapped by the kink in the hose and the wastegate would stay open at all times. Reinstall your boost controller and be sure NO kinks and limit the amount of zipties used. I like to just use electrical tape on any vacuum or boost hoses. If done right it looks clean and does not pinch the hose.

yes it held till about 7k then dropped off as before. and there arnt any kinks in the tubing. i did check over my piping but i didnt do a leak down test i just made sure everything was tight but one of my couplers looks like it could be dry rotted already. its the greddy one that is on the hot pipe side. goes from like 2" to the 3" or so but its confusing me i dk what to do
