Post

Hello,

I have a 350z Enthusiast Manual. It has about 89k miles. When I am at low rpms and give it gas the needle jumps a few thousand rpms (as if i am in nuetral) with no response and then the after a few second engine reacts, the rpms drop a little bit and the car accelerates.

I think this may be a clutch issue but not sure exactly what might be the problem.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Sorry that it's a problem that brought you here but I'm glad you found us!

Sounds like a slipping clutch to me, time to replace it. It's probably just the clutch disc that's worn but you'd be amazed at the performance gains from a lighter flywheel. If you're considering this it's best to do it all at once.

Welcome to NICO! :badger

Here's the thread with my replacement clutch info.

Visit the NICO Advertiser's Directory for a list of the site sponsors to pick one up, I picked mine up from FRSport.
