Good morning or afternoon gentlemen. I have my 1983 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 Turbo and its doing a weird thing. when i turn the ac on the brake warning light, open door warning light, and the low fuel light come on. it just started and I'm wondering if anyone here has seen this before and what to check. This is usually due to a faulty ground connection somewhere in the car. Unfortunately there is no easy troubleshooting procedure other that looking for corrosion and/or loose connections.

I'm new to this forum but if this was happening in my 280ZX I would be looking for the fault in the instrument console. A common earth connection is quite likely either there or in the loom where it plugs into the console. A close look at the instruments circuit might make it obvious. Just noticed this post was 12 months ago. Maybe it will help someone else.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be looking into it soon as I'm finally about to get the car back on the road. There is a list of things to do and this is one of them.
