I used a friends g-teck thats right on for him. I made a few runs and I got a 13.8 1/4 at 93mph and 0-60ft in 2.2sec. The 93mph seams way to slow to me, other people i know are around 100mph for that time. What do u think?

Is your car stock?? We need a little more info... 93mph trap speed is normal for a stock 240 but there is no way in hell a stock 240 will run a 13 sec pass.

the g-tech is a funny thing. u prolly ran a 13.8 on the road u tested it at but that does not mean the test site u used was perfectly straight...my best time on the g-tech off the drag strip was a 14.93 which is not exactly what i run. so when u use the g-tech the times are only reliable for the test site u use and no where else (if that makes sense). the only way to get a reliable and trusted time is to go to a strip. hope that helps

Read more carefully, that's 60 FT times, not 0-60 mph.

Still, 13.8 with a stock 240 is WAY fast. should be in the low 15's.

It's not stock. Got the rods, pistons, ported, stage 3 clutch, 205s(tires), 2650lbs and 209whp w/mad mid range TQ.

And my 0-50mph was 4.8sec.PS. Need way more power( 2weeks driving and it feels dam slow)

People think Ford mustang GT's are fast they need a 4cyl up-grade.

Just made some more runs and i looked at the speedo when it beep'd at the end of the 1/4mile. It was at 105mph, g-timers suck it said i was going 88.89mph and 15.3sec. Good thing it's not mine.

A 93 mph trap seems about right for high 13's, if traction was good out of the hole.

The thing is when it said i was going 93mph i was realy at 105mph. Thats low 13s( I know its fast, but low 13s?)

Buy the way when I got the 13.8sec, the g-teck said low 15s at 93mph, but a 0 to 90mph of 13.6sec. Just did some math for the +.2sec.

Every-things just ****'d up. Need to hit the track bad.

you do know you do several runs in both directons and then get an average by adding all the hp/trq/time numbers together and divide by how many runs, but you also throw out any unrealistic runs. I pulled many a 13 second runs in both direstions on very level surface and the guys here said no way. I think yes way, with the 3 accelerometer model. I have the 3 axis model that is true self leveling. I dont know much about the new ones with all the fancy (useless IMHO) options.

also did you get the cars weight on scales with you and all that is/was in the car for the runs? that is super impotent. (haha impotent)

I did enter the cars weight from what I got off the scales. This g-timer is a passport GT2 by ESCORT.

I'll try it in both ways, I found out with a GPS that I was going up 5ft.I also thought the weight should only help with the HP but not ET?
