What all is removable on the 1980 280ZX?

So far I have all the interior plastic, the carpet, the sound deadening, passenger seat, and the front bumper.

What else can I remove?

Realistically, what is the weight to horsepower ratio?

Depends on what you plan to use the car for.

If we know the purpose for the weight reduction, we'll be able to help you out more...

Then Dave nailed it.

Basically, if it's inessential for street use, rip it out.

Go full-bore and pull that monstrosity of a dash out and fab up an aluminum panel with essential gauges only...
