weight questions need help

whats good everyone i have a few questions that i cant seem to find any answers too and need help..

ok so if a stock 91 coupe is 2699 lbs how much can u take out but getting rid of that sound tar s***??

replacing the fire wall and trans tunnel with a sheet of alum??

and doing a half tub front end from the strut towers up??

the car needs to weigh in under 3100 lbs with me in it and im 175

Well I'm not sure about the tubs or firewall can't be much though cuz that stuck is thin as it is. I got rid of all plastics, sound deadening, spare tire seat and seat belts in the back. All sound deadening behind the dash (a lot) all the extra crap under the Hood (plastic, fome bumper. All extra brackets, ac equipment) etc. I'd say the two heaviest things were ac and the Hood. I went with fiberglass instead of carbon fiber its way lighter. When the roads clear ill get my car weighed and let you know. Ive heard that going. Carbon fiber doors and hatch w/ lexsand shaves like 200lbs!

yea the hatch is heavy but i have a coupe so its not to bad but its still going to b carbon and they dont make a rear window for the coupe in lexan

2230lbs on the track scale. I know it is a hatch, but that is with all the sound tar removed and a full fiberglass front end. I think it was half tank when it was weighed. PC680 Odyssey battery and 11lb rims and carbon fiber hatch.Once you start taking stuff out it will get light quickly. As I gut my new S14 I plan on doing a weight reduction journal to show what the different parts weigh, but that won't be until spring.

well if its a track car and you drive it o the track turn thewindows fro glass to plexi glass same with trunck lid
