I dont think the fastback weighs that much. it should be a lot closer to the coupes weight.

accord to spec sheets, the cars weight the following

S13 FastbackManual: Base: 2730 lbs. SE: 2747 lbs. Automatic: Base: 2790 lbs. SE: 2807 lbs.

S13 CoupeManual: Base: 2699 lbs. SE: 2712 lbs. Automatic: Base: 2759 lbs. SE: 2772 lbs.

That is curb weight, doesn't include things like gas/oil/coolant, luggage, or a driver.

the spec sheet must be wrong. when i had my fastback se inspected it was about 3600 pounds with a half tank of gas. WTF i thought i had a light car. if this is true, i'm going sell the hatch and find a coupe

When I got my car smogged couple weeks back, the weight came out to 2850 lbs with me in the car. I have an S14 base model and it was like 3/4 full of gas.

Those numbers seem a tad high IMO. Personally I'm looking for a base model S13 coupe as it's the "lightest" chassis.

My Fastback LE weighed in at 2770 with 1/2 tank of gas. Anything over 3000lbs is like vert range, lol. And I thought my car was heavy.

Hatches weigh around 2800. End of discussion.

Did you have a system yo?

edit: I would know if we had a heavy *** car, considering the 3kgt I'm driving around as my beater weighs 3600lbs. Grr.

I think the scale was a little off.

Before - 2690 lbs. 3/4 tank of fuelRemoved Trunk StuffRemoved Passanger and Rear SeatsI/He/Ex About 3 lbs. less per corner at wheels/tires

Verified on NHRA certified scale, and I have a base model S14.

Now - ~ 2490 lbs. - Whats left lol....

please look at the specs above, they are exactly correct.

once you start gutting s13's you can easily get them in the 2500 lb range. heck, one of my friends ran a 14.9 bone stock with a dohc stick (i mean BONE STOCK), basically because it weighed 2400 lbs.

s14's will weigh more. s15's will weigh even more yet.

if you are unsure what your car weighs, go to a local truck weigh station off the highway and tell them that you want to weigh your car. they only charge $10-15.

3619 was the measurement. it makes a little bit of sence because my car had all the options. HICAS, cruise, abs, sunroof, ect.

3619 is still way too much though.

im 100% sure you've never put your car on the scale, unless you had 400 lbs of bricks in the trunk.

you must be looking at the gross vehicle weight on the door. thats with full capacity (4 people), full liquids and full cargo room taken up (full trunk). you can't look at that figure.

go weigh your car.

it is, because if you use common sense you'll figure out that there is no way in hell it weighs anywhere close to 3600 lbs.

i didn't even know emissions had a scale? maybe they just wrote down the gross vehicle weight on your vin sticker in the drivers side door jam.
