I know this one comes up alot, but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for:

1. For those who have actually done the swap, how bad does it really affect your handling?

2. How much more does the rb25 weigh than the ka? What's stopping you from adding that difference in weight over the back wheels? Sure this will make the car more sluggish, but at least it wont understeer so bad like it would with a lot of weight in the front. To me it would seem like your car would slide like it used to.

there's nothing stopping you from adding the couple hundred pounds to the rear end. You're not going to handle as well though. Regardless as to how much the car can pull in the skid pad, if you have a lot of weight, you have a lot of inertia.

If you're really worried about how it would make it handle, just don't mess with the almost perfect balancing with the stock motor. Or even an sr is just as good.

Using the RB series motor in that light chassis is all about getting power to the ground. If you don't like dragging you might need to look elsewhere.

Look in the RB forum for your answers. The fact of the matter is, that with the RB25, you don't notice a difference. I know alot of people that have them, and I've driven them. You just don't notice it.
