What is the weight distribution on a 98 240sx SE? I hear 240s praised for their near to perfect weight distribution. I was just wondering if anyone knows the exacts...i think i heard 49/51(front/aft) once but not sure how accurate it was. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks

I think it all depends on how much your girlfriend/boyfriend weighs!!

yeah i think the front is heavier, other wise why would people "upgrade" with a battery relocation kit to the trunk, maybe to free some space up in the engine bay i guess?:pface

the s14 240sx with LSD and manual transmission has something like 60/40 with a full tank of gas. If you swap in the lighter SR into the car and remove a bunch of unneeded stuff such as A/C, Cruise control, and replace the battery with a lightweight one, you are going to be close to 50/50. A perfect 50/50 weight distribution does not gurantee better handling. It just steers more neutral.

I found a site that showed the specs on a stock S14 with LSD and they said it to be 53/47.
