I was orignally planning for an SR20, but the idea of a 2.4l turbo motor got my head thinking.

Long story short, I'm wondering how much would a semi built KAt motor able to support around 300whp would cost me, minus shop costs, and assuing I already have the motor. You know, conrods, pistons, and others. Can anyone shoot out a ball park figure?

Also, has anyone bolted a T28 onto a KAt yet? Its seems to be pretty potent on the SR20s...

300whp is easily attainable on a healthy, stock KA. For safety's measure though, the only major thing you'd want is a set of pistons. Rebuild the motor with new rings and get the head done too, for the money you saved from the unecessary rod upgrade.

Edit: Oh, and a T28 may do well on a shorter stroke 2 liter, but not a very good option for the KA. Even a simple Z31 T3 should allow better breathability while still maintaining quick spool.

Look here for some KA-T stuff and maybe look around yourself, that's half the fun. As for power, there's no way to predict because you have no idea what your setup is gunna be, much less me.
