I did a search and couldn't find anyone who has posted what their car weighs with a KA-T setup, and it got me thinking. I have put this thread in the other motor forums. It would be kind of cool to see what the real difference between SR's, CA's, and RB's swapped into S-chassis. Maybe this way we can get this info covered once and for all in one place.

Let's do it like this... if anyone is willing to drive to a truck stop or if they have access to scales. Someone with the following equipment:

List if S13 (coupe or hatch) or S14, Turbo motor, 1/2 tank gas, no significant body mods, back seat still installed, FMIC, and list anything removed.

I know there has been a lot of data posted on weights and whatnot, but it would be good to get a control group (yeah I'm an engineer go figure) to see some 1 to 1 comparisons in the car.

you could also go to the land fill or the rock quary

Last time I checked rock quaries and land fills quit stocking S13's and S14's with SR's...

I've got some decent numbers from the other motor forums... no one here has any weights of their cars with swaps?

yeah, good one..

all i meant was that those places have scales you drive over and you can get a printout of exactly how much your car weighs.. i happen to know the lady that works at the land fill and i might go get some numbers later this week.
