Post

Hi,

This is my 1st post, so hope I get the info right!
I have a 2007 Murano SE and have not had 1 issue at all with it, and love it (so does my adopted greyhound).

I need to carry cargo and purchased a roof cargo bag @ http://www.etrailer.com/Cargo-Bags/Pilo ... CG-07.html
The instructions say to move the crossbars as far as possible to the ends of the rails. I looked at the crossbars & see they don't move.
So my questions are:
1. Since the crossbar cargobag clips are to far from the crossbars, part of the bag will sit on the crossbars & part on the roof. I'll only be able to use the cargobag rail clips. Does anyone know how much weight the roof & crossbars will hold?

2. Do you think the bag will be a problem mounted on both roof & bars or does anyone have any ideas because of the crossbar issue?

Thanks so much,
Laurie

On our 2011 Murano, each crossbar is boldly marked 100 lbs. Max. load.
A star drive 'L' wrench is in the blove box. The mounting bolts are located
on the inside of the rail side just ahead and after the cross bar. Breaking the
bolts may take a little elbow juice as they are secured with q 'Locktite' type
paste. They are adjustable along the rails. I would suggest that you do not
ride with anything touching the roof, friction can wear through the paint!!!
