Nice turnout Wednesday night at ClubLoose Night Moves, Englishtown Raceway Park... A lot of new drifters trying there hand at it and a few nice cars too. Any way, took a few shots...

How did that Genesis do overall? It's an intriguing new car. Seems pretty cool in theory, not too much about it just yet. I know Rhys Millen is supposed to race on this upcoming season, just wondering how the stock version performed.

I don't know the owner, but these were Group C drivers, many just getting started this season with the exception of a few Group B driver, they were hoping to move up to Group B to go to the Road Course this weekend for the ClubLoose East Coast Bash. The Genesis owner got some lesson from Matt and he ripped it. The car is capable with the right driver, this one was pretty much stock. Come up this weeked to Englishtown, the Bash is Saturday and Sunday...I'll be here Sunday.

good pics, but i say f*** the genesis... the only thing hyundai has done during its whole manufacturing life is copy designs and ideas of other companies...

they have one that looks a lot like a jaguar, another that looks like a rav 4, and the genesis looks like a RWD Tiburon... it also looks like it has the lines of a g35/37

I am not at all excited for the Hyunadai genesis... it seems like hyundais research and development is just looking at other cars and copy them!

^thats actually the point. they keep cost down for dec cars by not having very much spending in design department.

MEH, i don't know. i am hoping that with the arrival of the genesis it'll make nissan at least consider making/bringing back a new silvia/240. heh. and the genesis looks like a good car. cheap too.

The genesis is legit, and that's all there is to it.

Don't be surprised if in 10 years we are all rocking hyundais. they seem to be the only manufacturer still recognizing the sport compact scene, and RWD 5 spd to boot with some great looking body lines.... tasty stuff.

yes, it looks like a g or a 350..... which is probably why it looks GOOD!

I HOPE as well that it inspires nissan/toyota/honda/everyone else to start making cool sport compact cars again.. but we'll have to see about that. Hating on the genesis only means bad things for the future of affordable sports cars for the masses.
