A few years back, when I had a 240 that I was working on, I came across a site that had built CAs ready for order. There were a few different stages that you could choose from. Does anyone remember the site? I think it was based in the UK. I haven't been able to find it again.

I believe Tomei Japan used to do that, most likely not anymore! I know that Norris Designs does do this kind of work youre looking for. They are based out of the UK if im correct. Hope this helps. http://www.norrisdesigns.com/products.asp?cat=87

Product ID: S13-015500Fast Road Engine.

Designed for the customer who has a highly tuned 200SX ND offer our fast road engine. It comes with forged pistons, metal head gasket, new bearings, cambelt, re-built head, new oil pump and much more. It is also warrantied for 12 months.

Price: £2,126.81 (£2,499.00 Inc Vat @17.5%)

Im not sure what this is in US Dollars but i know its expensive!

Theres probably a few here in the states or maybe even Canada or Austrailia that do the same type of work but you have to search. The most common thing you'll probably find are rebuild shops with standard rebuilt longblocks. It looks like ND will do both standard and performance rebuilds.

Just gotback from London yesterday and unless you have deep pockets or just plain'ol serious about having a built engine by someone proven, I'd avoid that UK stuff. The dollar is garbage over there and I spent alot of money on stuff that would cost crack-head prices on this end.

Yeah, Norris Designs. That's the one. Thanks for the info.

I guess the question is how much money it would take to do the same thing in the states. That's the long block only, so I'd still have to get all of the other parts. Any ideas what a rebuild to those specs would cost if I just got a front clip? Also who's doing front clips now? I've been out of this for so long...
