Hey all,

In January 2011 I finally received my Infiniti G37 Convertible. I love the car as long as I close my eyes when I'm filling it up with gas

Anyway, after about a year I had serious dents in my door panels because the seat belt wouldn't retract anymore. After complaining to my dealer he agreed to replace both of them under warranty. I told them that I had read online that there was a service pack available for this problem but I'm sure he didn't install them. He just told me that I had to put the seat belt under the holder clips which none of us do (I think) because it's not comfortable at all and it is a hassle to get someone in the back this way.

Anyway, after 2 weeks my seatbelts weren't retracting again. As you can imagine (I really try to watch out for this but it can happen) my door panels are dented again.

It's almost time for my 3rd checkup and I now I want to confront my dealer about this issue. This car is pretty expensive in Europe (80k $ at current exchange rates, even more when I bought it) and every time i unclip my seatbelt I feel like I'm driving a cheap a** car because I have to manually lead the seatbelt back into the retractor :tisk: .

So, my question after too much text (sorry I had to rant a bit): can one of you lead me to the website that lists all the service packs and their numbers / what they do ? I'm certain it exists, I'm certain I've been there last year but I forgot the URL / didn't save the link ...

Hi,

The best site I have found that reports Service Bulletins is called "Infiniti Help" at infinitihelp.com but you will have to sign up if you want to print them. That's ridiculous about your seat belts. You should not have that problem. I don't. Good luck.

Goodgalz, thank you, that was indeed the website I was searching for.

cmesmurf, thank you as well for giving me the ITBs, but I can't seem to find the 00-031b that you referred to; I did find the 11-012 (which is indeed applicable to my problem and will hopefully solve it) and the 10-011D.

Great, I'm glad the site worked for you. Again, good luck with your seat belt issue.

Does one of you know by any chance how many posts I have to have before I can write private messages to someone ? The system doesn't allow me to do so right now :(

10-011b is technically for the M and 00-031 is for side airbags (although both may show removal instructions for parts). 11-012 should be the appropriate one for replacing a weak pre-tensioner.

Actual TSB for 00-031a and 11-012 are here: http://www.infinitig37.com/Infiniti-G37 ... itins.html
I don't have the updated 00-031b (which I have not seen posted anywhere) but will look for it next time I updated the section.

Ah. I saw it listed somewhere as a M-series replacement.
