I just bought a 1993 240SX convertible and there are gaps between the sections of weatherstripping on the top - leaks like a sieve above the windows. Any ideas where to get new weatherstripping. The Nissan dealer said it's out of production and no dealers have any in stock. Is there an aftermarket distributor?

welcome to the vert subforum - where everyone is super cool because of the car they drive
you should definately make a new post to introduce yourself and post some pictures of your vert. don't worry if it's stock because half of the verts on the board are still stock.

My 93 240SX vert needs a peice of weatherstripping over the drivers door. Has anyone looked into other ASC conversion convertibles for the same type or style of weatherstripping? An upolstery shop friend suggested that it may be the same style that is used in Chrysler ASC convertible conversions. LeBarons, Sebrings ect. The stuff is pretty hard to find, just wondering if anyone else has had any luck. Good luck, thanks, and "VERT ON" hkmacc

seems like many of these posts have been out there a while, but I new here. ANyway, mine is a 93 240sx convertible black.....I'm the original owner, and have had it mothballed since 2003. ANyway, my issue is the weatherstripping on the inside of the windshield has crumbled and Nissan Parts zone tells me the part 400-6x031 is discontinued. So does anyone know where one can be found or a reasonable substitute.....any help is greatly appreciated. I'd really like to put my toy back on the road and by the way it is still driveable. Thanks again
