I'm another one of those Versa owners that has to keep putting the loose weather stripping back into place on the rear doors. The dealer pops it back on for free when I'm there but I find myself putting it back in place myself quite often.

Has anyone tried using an adhesive to put them permanently in place yet? What type of glue? Is there a proper technique to doing it?

Where are you having troubles with them? In the corners? There's a trick to making them fit well in the corners.

Go with some clear silicone.

They keep popping loose starting along the long back straight edge. With close to 100* heat the rubber sticks to the car and pulls loose every time we open the doors.

I was thinking clear silicone glue, too. I was just wondering if anyone else had actually tried it or used something else.

try some wax on the door jamb, and some silicone spray on the weathestrip surface (spray it on a paper towel, then wipe it on the weatherstrip) Also try some 3M weatherstrip adhesive, in a black squeeze tube. Its like contact cement, follow installation instructions.

I'm getting that same problem too. It's so annoying, I'm thinking about using double sided tape to prevent from doing it.
